Emotions are an important part of life and a key theme in a child's development. Emotion regulation is the skill of understanding and managing our emotions- both big and small. Emotions follow the same shape as a wave. The goal of this workbook is to help children understand and accept that all emotions are valid and a healthy part of life- just like waves in the ocean. This workbook guides children to cope with their emotions in adaptive ways- using both the mind and body. Let's go surfing!
